Strike attracted $ 80 million from Ten31 and other investors
Strike, the operator of the payment application based on Lightning Network, closed the round of financing of the series B in the amount of $ 80 million. This is stated in the press release.
The lid investor was the venture company Ten31. Financing was also provided by Washington University in St. Louis and Wyoming University.
The funds raised by the Strike team will direct to expand partnerships, scaling business and support efforts to improve payments.
In particular, the operator plans to release a new line of products and develop a commercial API . The latter is already integrated with platforms such as Blackhawk, NCR and Shopify.
“Strike and Ten31 have a general vision of a positive influence that bitcoin can have on the world, and they are unanimous in accelerating its adoption,” said the co -founder of the venture company Grant Gilliam.
Recall that in 2021, Strike added to the application the function of converting salaries to bitcoin for users from USA.
